This is printed from a special oil painting entitled, "For The Love of Squeaker" that artist Laurie J Grove painted and donated to Best Friends Animal Society where it was raffled off at the National "No More Homeless Pets" Conference in October of 2010. Squeaker is one of the scarred and abused Pit Bulls from Michael Vick's dog-fighting ring. When the police busted this dog fighting ring, Best Friends Animal Society took in 22 of the worst case Pit Bulls in 2008, where these dogs could heal and find love and Sanctuary at DogTown. With permission from Garrett Davis, photographer, Laurie was able to reproduce this very special moment when sweet little Squeaker was welcomed to SANCTUARY where these dogs received the LOVE and KINDNESS that they deserved. Print is Unmatted and Unframed.

For the Love of Squeaker print

I collect pibble art, and this is my number one favorite piece. It could be me with my first rescue, " Amy" a buckskin pittie. She was a bait dog with scars and burns, but the gentlest heart. The artist captured love on paper.
