All the dogs in the shelter were barking, except for one. She sat remarkably quietly amidst the chaos, her eyes pleading, “I’m a good dog; please take me home.”
I didn’t know much about dogs when I adopted Lexi; but training her was easy. She is intelligent, obedient, and eager to please. Her temperament is rock solid, and contrary to the breed's tarnished reputation, she is gentle, elegant, and refined. She is my Pit Bull Princess!
Lexi has passed the American Temperament Test, the Canine Good Citizen Test, and the Therapy Dog International Test. We had our first therapy visit on December 23, 2009 at a local Middle School where we got to educate 6th graders about Pit Bulls and how to be a responsible pet owner. It was thrilling to see the kid's faces light up when they met her. We are looking forward to many more therapy visits!
I am always disappointed by the negative reactions I get from people when they learn she is a Pit Bull. It infuriates me that the media has made “Pit Bull” synonymous with “killer.” Not long ago, Pit Bulls were beloved family pets, war heroes (stubby), and TV stars (Petey of The Little Rascals was a Pit Bull).
Without a doubt, Pit Bull’s are the most abused and misunderstood breed of dog today. Because of false stereotypes and misconceptions that they were born to fight, these poor creatures are suffering more cruelty and dying in record numbers in shelters than any other breed.
Lexi has profoundly changed my life. I now devote all my spare time (and then some) to helping these magnificent and misunderstood dogs. I participate in Pit Bull rescue, education and spay/neuter efforts. It is the most rewarding, yet sometimes most heart wrenching, work I have ever done.
I opened The Pit Bull Princess to give proud, educated Pit Bull owners and enthusiasts a place to shop for a wide variety of gifts and products. You wont have to sift through a mix of positive & negative image products; all of our products promote a positive image of the Pit Bull breeds.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
We ship to the United States only, and make every effort to ship in-stock merchandise within 48 hours. We use the shipping method best suited to each situation and most goods will arrive in 8 to 10 days from the date shipped. Because we deal with many individual artists and craftspeople, there are sometimes delays in restocking - we’ll let you know in that event. Items ordered together may not arrive together. Please note: UPS and Federal Express do not deliver to P.O. Boxes, so we require a complete street address and phone number to ensure delivery.
Occasionally we get a rush of orders, especially during holiday seasons, which may cause us to be temporarily out of stock on a particular item. We will send you an email right away to inform you of the status of your order. You will not be charged until we ship the item(s).
Shipping and handling charges are based on the merchandise total of each order shipped to a single address. Please apply the following shipping rates for each address to which your order is being shipped. Certain items require additional freight and insurance, including (but not limited to) fragile, oversized, or overweight items. The figures below apply to the continental USA only.

$0 - $25.00 = $5.95
$25.01 - $50.00 = $9.95
$50.01 - $100.00 = $12.95
$100.01 - $150.00 = $16.95
$150.01-$200.00 = $19.95
$200.01-$250.00 = $25.95
$250.01-$300.00 = $29.95
$300.01 and over = $35.95
Additional Shipping Charges may apply on specific oversize products. If your purchase requires oversized shipping, those charges are applied in addition to the standard shipping and processing charges outlined above.

As a retailer, The Pit Bull Princess does not offer additional or concurrent warranties on the products we sell.
RETURN POLICY
Returns may be made within the first 10 days of receipt of merchandise, unless otherwise noted in the item description. Items must be returned in the same condition as they were received. We reserve the right to reject any return if the condition of the returned item is clearly different and/or unsellable based on the condition when the product was sent. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay shipping to return merchandise. A refund check will be mailed to the customer within 10 business days of receipt of the returned merchandise.
Custom Orders or personalized orders are not returnable. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm specifics on orders prior to placing order.
Report damaged goods or discrepancies to The Pit Bull Princess immediately upon receipt. Damaged items will be replaced as soon as possible.
